IF I DIED

 

Title: If I died

 

If I died today

There'd be no tomorrow.

There would've been a yesterday

And there is a today

But I died so it matters not.

If I died today

The world would stop revolving,

The sun would stop shining,

Time will stand still.

My body would become cold,

If I died today.

I wouldn't love,

I wouldn't hate,

I wouldn't lust,

I wouldn't trust,

So I wouldn't break.

If I died today,

My first kiss would've happened.

My first love would've been.

If I died today,

Would you come?

Listen to my adventures,

My well wishes,

My praises,

The laments and cries,

For my demise.

If I died today,

Would it all have mattered?

Would I do it again If I died today.


This piece came from a very dark place, but i really love how it turned out.
